Story to Song — Submissions Closed
Submissions are closed
Warrior Songs is no longer accepting new Story to Song submissions or starting new projects. Our remaining Story to Song work is limited to finishing Warrior Songs Volume 4.
A note from Jason Moon
On April 1, 2028, Warrior Songs will close, and I will step away for health reasons. I no longer have the capacity to continue leading this work beyond that date.
Thank you to every veteran who has trusted us with their story, and to the musicians, volunteers, donors, and listeners who have supported this work.

About the Story to Song process
Story to Song brought veterans and musicians together to turn veterans’ stories into songs, providing a platform for reflection, transformation, and healing.
Submissions are now closed. We are not accepting new stories, poetry, songs, or applications. Our remaining work is limited to finishing Volume 4.
For existing Volume 4 collaborations, veterans retain the rights to their original material and may choose confidentiality. Veterans are consulted during songwriting and approve the final creation. The songs are recorded for a compilation album.
