Operation Shockwave presents an exclusive film screening of A New Leash on Life with Executive Producer, Jennifer Kauffman.

Operation Shockwave is a local non-profit focusing on suicide prevention for our military veterans. Our mission is to provide resources, promote alternate healing modalities and offer community outreach support. We Advocate for Veteran Empowerment #WAVE

The University of Advancing Technology is our gracious host/sponsor for the evening as we present an exclusive screening of the film, A New Leash on Life: The K9s for Warriors Story. Executive Producer, author, and inspirational speaker, Jennifer Kauffman will be leading the special guest discussion after the film. She will be sharing the stage with Jacob Wehr (Veteran and Holistic Influencer), Ryan Newman (Veteran and Service Animal Trainer), and Dr. Ronald Summerhill, Psy.D. (PTSD Subject Matter Expert). Special guest appearance by Shilo Schluterman and her service dog, Javelin (featured in the film).

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Sadly, we lose 22 veterans every day to suicide. Come show your support to a community who needs YOU to be involved. YOUR presence at this event can help to save a life troubled by invisible wounds. Proceeds go to Operation Shockwave's Veteran Empowerment programs, educational resources and future events to bring awareness to our community. A small portion of the night's proceeds also go to Dogs4Vets; American Service Animal Society (a local non-profit here in Gilbert, AZ) that offers service dog training to Military Veterans at no cost.
