Description A Winter Celebration for Veterans, Active Duty Military & their Families! Come join the festivities in Angel Fire, New Mexico for the 5th Annual Military Winterfest!

Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowshoeing & more! Inter-service Slalom Race competition, Saturday Afternoon Celebratory Dinner, Saturday Night - Meet/hear our guest speaker, Jason Moon - See movie trailer of special guest, Paraplegic Skier/Original Free-Style Skier, Mike Vowels Enter the raffle for a Never Summer snowboard ($600 value) and Chronic Skis ($600 value) View Movie Short 'Return to Paradise – A Skier’s Journey' and talk with Mike Vowels Sunday Afternoon Winterfest showcases Angel Fire Resort’s mountain with 80 runs, 3 terrain parks, gladed tree runs & nighttime skiing. The festival offers deep discounts for accommodations, rental equipment, lift tickets and ski & snowboard lessons for vets, taught by vets. As well, the festival features adaptive sessions for vets with disabilities. Other highlights include a Celebratory Dinner, a daily Twilight Colors Retirement Parade and Meet & Greet Socials.

Registration Fees: $30 for the veteran and $50 for veteran families.
